Radiograpghs (x-rays)
Radiographs are beneficial to your dentist and your dental hygienist. Changes in bone health can be detected and treated with early detection, providing a better chance for longevity of your teeth and supporting structures.
Scaling, Root Planing and Polishing
Scaling is your "cleaning", billed in units of time. 1 unit = 15 mins. Insurance providers allow maximum units of scaling for insured customers. Becoming familiar with your individual health insurance plan is a great way to advocate for your health.
Root planing can be done where bone loss around teeth has exposed the root, a softer surface more susceptible to harbouring bacteria that can cause periodontal disease.
Polishing is done selectively and promotes a smooth surface to aid in maintaining health
In-office professional whitening
Patient's must have a dental hygiene exam to determine eligibility for in office whitening treatment.
Desensitization & Fluoride Treatments
Fluoride is intended to be used as a topical treatment in moderation to strengthen the tooth structure.
